I've been in the SCA (Ansteorra, and Atenveldt before Ansteorra became a separate entity) since AS 10 (1975.) I have a boatload of [http://herald.ansteorra.org/OP/op-names.php?search=Tivar&submit=search&OP= awards] including the first-ever White Scarf and a Pelican for developing rapier combat in Ansteorra, I was the first Deputy Society Marshal for Rapier Combat and held that post from 1988 to 1998. As you might guess, rapier fighting is my primary interest in the SCA.
