At the time of our tale, Don Jeremy and Don Alaric were roommates. Alaric was also unemployed, which meant he spent a fair amount of time at home watching TV (this was in the Dark Ages, before the internet was developed.)

So anyway… on the fateful day, the movie “Zulu” was showing. Alaric got rather involved in the movie. Perhaps a little too involved. When Jeremy came home from work that afternoon, Alaric greeted him by leaping over the back of the couch, saber in one hand, pistol in the other, pith helmet on his head and screaming “Die, you Zulu bastard!”
